Sage takes second and third at Fall Invitational


Ravena, NY---- The Sage Colleges men's golf team hosted the Sage Fall Invitational
on Saturday at Sycamore Country Club. Concordia College won the team event with
a score of 305 and had the medalist as junior Jeff Schaller (Kingston, NY/Kingston)
finished as the medalist with a round of 74.


Sage's A team finished in second place with a 322, while Sage's B team took third
with a 360 and Cazenovia College rounded out the field taking fourth with a 383.

Sage's sophomore 
Zach Meade (Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake) shot a 77 and
finished fourth overall, while junior Dan Schulz (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin Perth)
carded a 78 and was next in the individual standings.
Tying for sixth place was senior 
Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) as he had
an 80, while senior Mason Wallace (Latham, NY/Shaker) posted an 81 and took
eighth place. Sophomore Rich Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) finished with an

83 and took ninth, while junior Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) had an 84 and
finished in 10 th place.



Sophomore 
Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Lake) had an 85, while junior 
Pat Lanoue (Troy, NY/
Hoosick Valley)
added a 96 and sophomore Gerard Beaudin (Delmar, NY/Home Schooled) rounded out t
he Gators with his 103 on the day.

 Sage returns to action on October 18 at the Purchase College Invitational.
