Gator men's team takes home 7th place at Cazenovia Meet
Cazenovia, NY–Sage's men's cross country team was in action on Saturday at the Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational. In the men's race, SUNY-ESF took home first place with a score of 32 and bested the 11 team field. Sage's men's team picked up a seventh place finish with a score of 182.

For the Sage men's team, rookie Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) was the first Gator finisher in 16th place in a time of 29:07. Sophomore Jesus Vaquez-Lopez (Latham, NY/Shaker) finished in 32nd place with his time of 30:21 on the 8 K course.
Senior Cory Alvarado (Shokan, NY/Onteora) finished in 48th in 31:21 for the Gators, while junior Bryan Kelly (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley Central) took 55th in 32:07. Junior Anthony Crawford (Bronx, NY/Frederick Douglass Academy) netted a time of 39:39 to finish in 86th, while sophomore Ricky Parker (Scotia, NY/Burnt Hills Ballston Lake) took 87th in 39:40.
Next up for Sage is the Green Mountain College Invitational on October 13.
