Wet weather knocks out Gator action for March 30 and March 31
Troy, NY---Tuesday's wet weather has caused changes to the schedules for The Sage Colleges' softball and women's lacrosse teams. In addition, Sage's men's golf team was slated to compete at Farmingdale for a tri-match on Wednesday, March 31 and that has now been added to the list of postponements.
Sage's softball team was slated to host the Fighting Tigers of SUNY-Cobleskill on Tuesday, but due to the poor weather the doubleheader action has been postponed. The games will now take place on Thursday, April 22 at Sage with the doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. at Robison Field.
Sage's women's lacrosse team was also slated to be in action on Tuesday at Skyline Conference foe, Mt. St. Mary College. Due to poor field conditions, the contest has been postponed for the day and will now take place on Monday, April 12 at 7 p.m.
Next up for the Gator softball team is a non-conference doubleheader at Castleton State College on Friday, April 2 at 3 p.m. The Gator women's lacrosse team will also be in action again on Friday, April 2 for a non-conference match at Cazenovia College, also a 3 p.m. start.
No new date has been set for the Gators' men's golf match at Farmingdale. Sage will open the spring half of the season on Tuesday, April 6 at the Hamilton College Invitational.
