Troy, NY- Led by sophomore point guard, Elizabeth Donk (Phelps, NY), The Sage Colleges earn their first win of the season in dramatic fashion against Yeshiva University (1-6 overall, 0-5 Skyline Conference) this afternoon.
In a game that saw the lead exchange hands multiple times, the Gators (1-5 overall, 1-1 Skyline Conference) ended up on top at the final buzzer by a score of 68 to 61. Donk contributed 19 points, 14 rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes while teammate Amber Muir (Schenectady, NY) added 11 points and 13 rebounds. Tova Laufer (New York, NY) scored a game leading 20 points and had 19 rebounds despite fouling out in the second half for the Maccabees.
Sage heads to Purchase College on Wednesday, December 10th for their final contest of the semester. Tip time is 6pm.
