Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's lacrosse team dropped their home opener to non-conference opponent Cazenovia College 6-19 Tuesday evening.
The Gators found themselves down 1-8 after the first half, the lone first half goal for Sage was scored by Brianna Thompson (Mason, OH). Nicole Kimmel (Rome, NY) found the back of the net three times for the Wildcats in the first half. In the second half of play Thompson scored three more goals, while Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) scored twice for Sage. Kimmel added another goal in the second half to lead Cazenovia with four goals on the night.
Sage returns to the field on Saturday, April 4th when they travel to Kean for their second conference match up of the season.
