The Gators found themselves in a 0-0 tie at the end of 45 minutes, as they failed to connect on any of the four shots on goal they had. 50:34 into the game freshman Rebecca Marszalek (Adams, MA) found the net for Sage with the game winning goal. The Gators would score six more times over the course of the half. Korin Hollenbeck (Hudson, NY) scored just three minutes after Marszalek, while Samanda Defoe (Galway, NY) put one between the posts at the 63:33 mark. Marszalek scored her second goal of the game thirteen minutes later, followed by Krystal Cozzens(Cohoes, NY) just 45 seconds later. Adams, typically a standout defender for the Gators, scored the sixth and seventh goals for Sage to secure the 7-0 win.
The Gators will travel to Farmingdale Saturday, October 25th for a 1pm start.
