Sage Soccer Loses Conference Contest
Mt. Sinai, NY - The Sage Colleges women's soccer team lost 0-3 to conference leading St. Joseph's College Saturday afternoon.
Mt. Sinai, NY - The Sage Colleges women's soccer team lost 0-3 to conference leading St. Joseph's College Saturday afternoon.
Sage found themselves down only one at the half, but only manged three shots in the second half, while St. Joseph's found the back of the net two more times. The Gators were held to just seven shots on the day, compared to the 17 shots the Eagles got off. Freshman Sarah Fink (Maryland, NY) played all 90 minutes and recorded eight saves between the posts.
With the loss the Gators remain tied for fourth place in the Skyline Conference with a record of 3-2-1 and 5-5-2 overall. Sage returns to the field Thursday, October 23rd as they host Maritime at University at Albany at 4pm.
