Sage Ties SUNY IT In Double Overtime
Albany, NY - The Sage Colleges women's soccer team tied SUNY IT 1-1 in double overtime Monday afternoon at the University of Albany.
Albany, NY - The Sage Colleges women's soccer team tied SUNY IT 1-1 in double overtime Monday afternoon at the University of Albany.
The Wildcats scored late in the first half on a break away to go up 1-0 heading into halftime. The Gators managed to tie it up in the 53rd minute on a goal by Sarah Briggs (Cohoes, NY) from Ashley Allain (Stillwater, NY).
Sage got off seven shots compared to SUNY IT's 14. Gator goal keeper Sarah Fink (Maryland, NY) recorded six saves, while Laurel Hosmer tallied twelve saves.
The Gators wrap up the regular season at Mount Saint Vincent on November 2nd. The game will be played at Purchase College at 6pm.
