• A three-year letterwinner at Sage, Austin Laverty has already played in 93 matches as a Gator.
• As a Gator newcomer, he helped the team advance to the 2016 Skyline Championship semi-finals. The middle hitter was the Skyline Rookie of the Week in week one and to the winter Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team. He played in 116 sets over 35 matches and recorded 0.62 kills/set, 1.00 assists/set, 0.16 aces/set, 1.00 points/set, 0.56 digs/set and 0.45 blocks/set while totaling 72 kills, .191 hitting percentage, 116 assists, 18 aces, 119.5 points, 65 digs, .915 reception percentage and 52 blocks.
