Bio
A newcomer to the Gator softball team this year, Teagan Waddingham is coming off a successful campaign as the Gators’ starting goalie on the women’s soccer team, which earned a spot in the 2012 Skyline Conference Tournament. She started all 16 games in net for Sage and racked up an impressive five shutout wins, while finishing the season with a 2.96 goals against average.
A transfer from Hartwick College, Waddingham played nine games with four starts for the Hawks in goal on the soccer team. She added a 2.38 GAA and a .759 saves percentage in 265 minutes of service.
In high school, she was a three-sport athlete at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk and was the soccer team MVP. She also earned numerous post-season awards and led her soccer team to the Colonial Council Championship and a state semifinalist finish in 2008. She excelled in softball as well wining the 2010 and 2011 Sportsmanship Awards, while also garnering a spot in the 2011 all-star team. A recipient of the Coaches’ Award, she was tapped as the defensive player of the year as a senior.
At Sage, she is a physical education major. She is the daughter of John and Karen Waddingham.
