Sage Career Stats

A two-year letterwinner in basketball at Sage, Chelsea Martin has excelled as a student-athlete at Sage. She has also played soccer and lacrosse for the Gators, but will concentrate solely on basketball in this her junior season.

As a sophomore, she averaged 6.4 ppg, while hauling down 6.4 rpg. She added 22 blocks and 23 treys on the year as well as starting every game. A two-year starter, she has started 48 consecutive games as Sage and now has 421 points, 318 rebounds, 37 blocks and 52 3-point baskets as a Gator.

A graduate of Jefferson Central H.S., she was an outstanding performer in soccer, basketball, and softball. She was a team captain in basketball as well as a first-team all-star for area. She was also a 1,000 point scorer and helped her 2009-2010 team to a sectional finalist appearance.

She was the recipient of a High Regents Diploma and served as the president of the honor society.

At Sage, she has been very busy as well and was the basketball team's 2010-2011 recipient of the Gator Award as the team's MVP. She is a Dean's List student and has achieved high honors. She is the vice president of Sage's SAAC group and is a business administration major at Sage.

She is the daughter of Steve and Jane McIntosh-Martin. Her sister Karina Martin played soccer for Elmira.
