Bio
Another of Sage’s two sport student-athletes, Emily Stevenson returns to the lacrosse team after a successful fall campaign in women’s soccer. She played in 14 games this past season, while racking up six points on two goals and two assists on the soccer pitch.
As a Gator soccer newcomer in 2011, Stevenson played and started all 14 games. She added a goal and an assist. Her goal was the game-winner in Sage's win over NYU-Poly.
In addition to her efforts on the soccer field, Stevenson also played lacrosse for Sage last season, where she started 12 of 13 games played. She connected on three goals with 19 ground ball pickups and 11 draw controls.
A former four-sport student-athlete at Newfield High School, she starred in soccer, basketball, softball, and track. She served as a team captain for the soccer, basketball, and track teams, while earning first team all-conference honors in soccer as well as team MVP honors. She helped her 2008 track team to a divisional championship, while also earning a membership to the National Honor Society.
A Dean's List student at Sage, she is majoring in biology. She was named to the 2012 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team last spring as a member of the lacrosse team and again in the fall as a member of the women’s soccer team. She is active in the Biology Club as well as Spectrums. She is the daughter of David and Holly Stevenson.
