Sophia Keravich

At Sage:

•  Sophia Keravich was a member of Sage’s women’s cross country team in her first semester at Sage. She helped the team to a sixth place showing at the 2017 Empire 8 Championship.
• She added a time of 30:45.3 to take 47^th at the Empire 8 Championship in 2017, while adding a 25^th place finish at the Green Mountain Invitational in 23:56.
• At the RPI Invitational, she had a time of 23:50.2 to take 112^th place, while collecting a 78^th place finish at the Bard Invitational in 24:03. In her first collegiate race, she posted a time of 20:04.5 to take 31^st at the Siena Short Course Meet.
• As a sophomore in cross country, she posted a time of 31:07.88 and picked up 50^th at the 2018 Empire 8 Championships. She added another strong showing at the Vassar Invitational, after posting a time of 14:22.6 at to finish in 29th place.
• As a newcomer in women’s lacrosse in 2018, she played in every game. She added 1 assist with six ground ball pickups.
• She helped Sage in 2019 as a member of the lacrosse team having played in all 15 games with 14 starts. She added a personal-best 5 goals and racked up 22 ground ball pickups with 12 draws and 5 caused turnovers. She
• In the fall of 2019 as a member of the cross country team, she helped the Gators to a fifth place team finish at the Empire 8 Championship after posting a time of 28:51.5 to take 54^th on the 6 k course. Along the way, Keravich had a number of strong races during her junior season.
• She posted her personal-best time at Westfield State’s James Early Invitational after recording a time of 22:14.3 on the 5 k distance and was 134^th in a large field of runners.
• She opened the year taking 27^th at the Vassar Short Course Invitational, posting a time of 14:19.1 to take 34^th with her best time for the 3 k distance. She was a 32nd at the Stephen A. Warde Invitational at SUNY-Cobleskill (29:17.4), 26^th at the Oneonta State Airfield Race (22:40.4), and 70^th at the Mt. St. Mary Invitational (29:51.3) over the course of the fall.
• Keravich also helped Sage with her time at the NCAA Regionals as she posted a time of 28:55.4 in the final race of the season in less than ideal conditions.
• A starter in all 3 games in lacrosse in 2020, she had 1 goal with 4 ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• She has now played in 32 games for the Gators with 6 career goals and 1 assist. She has also collected 32 career ground balls with 12 draws in her time on the lacrosse team at Sage.

Academics at Sage:

• She is a biology major at Sage and earned Dean’s List honors.
• She is also a repeat honoree having earned acclaim twice as Empire 8 President’s List Scholar-Athlete. She is also a Sage Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll recipient.

High School:

• A graduate of Oyster River High School, she was a standout performer scholastically.
