Bio

A two-time team captain for the Gators this fall, Katelyn Drollette is a returning letterwinner having played in both 2011 and 2012.

As a rookie, she earned considerable experience as a newcomer. She played in 111 sets as freshman and added 33 serving aces with 36 digs as a defensive specialist. Last season, she earned a spot on the Elms College Blazer Invitational All-Tournament Team after Sage won the championship title on opening week of the 2012 season. She added 36 aces with a personal-best 450 digs while playing in 127 sets on 33 matches.

A three-time varsity team captain at Saranac High School, she was the team's most valuable defensive player. She garnered two All-Tournament Team selections, while also garnering acclaim as the recipient of the Coaches' Award, the Most Dedicated Player and the Best Defensive Performer during her scholastic career.

She is majoring in English leading to occupational therapy at Sage and is the twin sister to Kelley. She is the daughter of Wayne and Tammey Drolette. She enjoys horseback riding in her free time and has three horses, Ally, Addie, and Walter. She plans on pursuing a career in occupational therapy after graduation.
