Bio

Named a team captain for the 2013 Gators, Sarah Woodruff is a returning letterwinner having played for the 2011 and 2012 Sage women’s soccer teams,

As a newcomer in 2011, she started 4 of 8 games played for the Gators. Her 2012 campaign was shortened due to an injury and played in just nine matches with one start. She connected for one goal and two assists and brings four career points into the 2013 campaign having played in 17 matches for the Gators.

She came to Sage from Copenhagen Central High School, where she was both a team captain for the soccer and cheerleading teams. As a member of the cheerleading squad, she captured the State Championship as well as garnering all-star honors. In soccer, she was part of a team that went to sectionals and finished third.

She is a former National Honor Society student and earned High Honor Roll status as well. At Sage, she is majoring in art education and is the daughter of Wayne and Deborah Woodruff.
