ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Tennis was in action on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The Gators hosted Saint John Fisher on Saturday and, in a makeup of an August postponement, Vermont State University: Castleton on Sunday.
On Saturday against SJFU (4-1/4-0 E8), junior Katie Snell (Valley Falls, NY/Greenwich) won a combined five games across the number three singles action.
Junior Amber Elk (Albany, NY/Colonie) stood out for RSC against the Spartans (2-4), winning 10 total games across number two doubles and number four singles.
Looking ahead, the Gators (0-7/0-4 E8), which fell 7-0 in both contests, visit Hartwick on Friday afternoon.
