Sophomore Kyle Dhu (Ozone Park, NY/Brooklyn Law and Tech) topped all players with 27 points on 8-of-14 shooting. The guard added six rebounds and two assists.
Senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC) contributed 20 points and five rebounds, while junior center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) tallied a double-double of 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting and 11 boards.
The Gators got out to first half advantages of 9-0 and 26-8 to hold a 33-28 lead at the break.
RSC, up by double-digits for the final 16:39, regained control with a 17-7 run spanning 5:29.
Senior guard Aden Goffe paced Elms (2-1) with 22 points on 9-of-20 shooting and seven rebounds.
RSC (2-0), which led by as many as 19, goes on the road for the first time this season on Saturday, playing at SUNY Cobleskill at 1:00 PM.
