Gators Close 2025 with Home Victory

ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Basketball continued one of its best starts in program history by defeating visiting SUNY Delhi 94-69.
The Gators, which head into 2026 with a 7-1 record, had four players score in double figures.
Senior guard Brandon Harris (Elmsford, NY/Alexander Hamilton/Herkimer CC) and junior center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) topped RSC with 17 points each. Noteman, who went 5-of-9 from the field, grabbed eight rebounds, while Harris tallied five steals and two assists.
Sophomore guard Kyle Dhu (Ozone Park, NY/Brooklyn Law and Tech) contributed 15 points, five rebounds, five steals and three assists, while junior guard Pape Tunkara (Mount Vernon, NY/Iona Prep/Genesee CC) added 14 points, and six assists.
The Gators overcame a slow start to secure the home victory. RSC trailed for much of the early going against the visiting Broncos, before closing the opening half on a 23-8 run to take control.
Up 49-35 at the break, RSC increased its advantage to as many as 26.
Senior forward Jason Tagios led SUNY Delhi (2-7) with 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
RSC (7-1) rings in 2026 on January 2 vs. John Jay. The home non-conference action is slated to begin at 2:00 PM.
