Gator Golfers Finish Season with a Championship Title at Sage Spring Invitational
Selkirk, NY--- The Sage Colleges' men's golf team hosted the Sage Spring Invitational on Sunday afternoon at Sycamore Country Club. The Gators won the five-team tournament after posting a score of 326 for the par 72, 6,528 yard course.

Westfield State University's sophomore Tyler LaBonte (Brewster, MA/Nauset) was the medalist after carding a 78 for the day. Sage's senior Nick Osowicki (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) finished in second place after his round of 79.
Sage's lineup had five players finish in the Top 10 individually. Sophomore Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) had an 81 to take third, while junior Shane Kiseilis (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) took fourth with an 82. Sophomore Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Lake) carded an 82 as well and finished in the tie for fourth, while Sage captain Ian Pingelski (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) added an 84 and took ninth.
Also competing for the Gators in the final event of the season was senior Mason Wallace (Latham, NY/Shaker) and he posted a round of 90, while senior Dan Schulz (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalin Perth) added a 91.
