FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Farmingdale State outscored Russell Sage College 6-2 in the opening quarter on its way to a 20-3 victory this afternoon.
Senior attackman Bailey Martin (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga Central), senior midfielder Reginald Dumas (Staten Island, NY/Susan E. Wagner) (above), and sophomore midfielder Ryan Hanna (Flanders, NJ/Mount Olive) each scored for the Gators, while senior goalie Michael Capitelli (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) stopped eight Ram shots.
Farmingdale State (2-0), which led 13-3 at the break, had five players net at least three goals. Senior attackman Terrence Haggarty led the group with four goals and two assists.
RSC (0-2) returns to the field tomorrow when it hosts the College of Mount St. Vincent at 6:00 pm.
