Finlan Finishes First Overall at Empire 8 Fall Championships
ROME, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Golf sophomore Luke Finlan (Albany, NY/LaSalle Inst.) placed first overall at the Empire 8 Conference Fall Championships, hosted by SUNY Poly, on Sunday and Monday.
Finlan, who finished day one at +4, carded a +2 score of 72 on Monday to jump to the top spot and secure medalist honors for the tournament.
The Gators finished second overall as a team, with a total score of +48.
Junior Ryan Arp (Greenville, NY/Greenville CAD) carded a two-day score of +13, good for a 7th place finish overall.
On the women's side, senior Grace Kinkaid (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) placed 7th among all participants with a two-day total of +44.
Gator Bites with Papa John's: RSC finished fifth at the 2024-2025 Empire 8 Conference Golf Championships.
