Gators Win on "Senior Day"
ALBANY, N.Y. – After recognizing nine senior student-athletes before the game, Russell Sage College Men's Soccer moved to 2-0 with this afternoon's 1-0 shutout of the visiting Pratt Institute.

Sophomore midfielder Anthony Geis (Newburgh, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) tallied the lone goal of the Labor Day matinee in the 40th minute.
The Gators made the marker stand up in the second half, holding advantages of 4-1 on shots, and 4-0 on corners following the break.
"We are really happy about the result," said Head Coach Amir Pasic. "Pratt frustrated us and tested us in ways we haven't been tested yet. We have a great senior group and are thrilled we could win after honoring them."
Freshman Mateja Milutin (Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Serbia/The Kiski School) (Win, 2-0-0) registered three saves in relief of starter Sean Nemeth (Grand Island, NY/O'Hara/Wells), one of nine Gators recognized prior to the contest.
Sophomore midfielder Omri Hadad led the Cannoneers (0-2-0) with three shot attempts.
The Gators (2-0-0) are back on the pitch on Friday afternoon against Keene State

Arnold), midfielder Connor Swart (Walden, NY/Valley Central), forward Joel Tshiamala (Banyoles, Girona, Spain/Sports EDU/Marietta), midfielder Abid Ali (Hudson, NY/Hudson), and forward Zakaria Toure (New York, NY/International/Eastern Nazarene), for their contributions to the men's soccer program.
