Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the RSC Men's Soccer Game on October 4
ALBANY - As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Russell Sage College Men's Soccer announced that it will be holding a Fiesta y Fútbol celebration at its 12:00 PM contest on Saturday October 4.
Following the game at the ACPHS Athletic Complex, the Gators, which have student-athletes from Brazi and Spain on the roster, will be hosting a free youth clinic in the Armory.
For as long as I've been coaching, I've dreamed of hosting a game that honors and uplifts the Latin American community," said Head Coach Amir Pasic. "With National Hispanic Heritage Month falling right in the heart of our season, it's the perfect opportunity to celebrate both the sport we love and the vibrant culture that brings so much value to our country and the greater Albany area. This event is about more than just soccer, it's a celebration of community. We'll have local Latin American food, a live Latin DJ, a free bachata and salsa dance class, and local Latin American community partners joining us. After the game, we'll also be offering a free soccer clinic in the Armory to give back and connect through the sport we all love. It's a day to come together, celebrate diversity, and share in the joy that unites us on and off the field."
