Junior forward Kallie Hopkins (Millsboro, DE/Poly Tech) topped the Gators with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Senior guard Layla Acosta (Haines City, FL/Haines City) added 16 points, while senior forward Emily Zeh (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) tallied nine points and seven rebounds.
Up 33-28 at the intermission, SUNY Canton (5-0) broke open the Saturday matinee with a 22-9 third quarter. The Roos, which had three players net double-figures, continued to increase their advantage in the final period, getting up by as many as 23.
Sophomore forward Kat McRobbie-Taru registered 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting and 12 rebounds to pace the victors. Freshman guard Kate Grainger also achieved a double-double, scoring 13 points and hauling in 12 caroms.
Looking ahead, RSC (3-2) hosts Hartford on Saturday afternoon.
