HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Basketball wrapped up their weekend with a 76-52 loss to Houghton on Saturday afternoon.
The Gators trailed by just five at the break, before the Highlanders scored 34 points in the third quarter to propel them to their tenth conference win.
RSC had two scorers in double figures, with junior forward Kallie Hopkins (Millsboro, DE/Poly Tech) leading the way with twelve. The junior, who is among the E8 rebounding leaders, added seven boards to the box score.
Sophomore guard Jaileen Soto (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg) scored eleven while adding two rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Houghton (19-5/10-5 E8) was led by Tabitha DeVries, who tallied a game-high 18 points.
The Gators (14-10/9-6 E8) wrap up their regular season on Tuesday as they host Hartwick.
