ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College established a season-high for goals in this afternoon's 16-1 home win vs. MCLA.
The Gators (2-4), which led 13-0 at the half, had five players register multiple points and seven different goal scorers in the home victory.
Sophomore midfielder Lailah Espinal (Mastic Beach, NY/William Floyd) led the group with six points on four goals and two assists.
Junior attacker Samantha Shafer (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) and sophomore attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) contributed three goals and an assist each.
Rookie attacker/midfielder Julia Graham netted the lone goal for MCLA (1-4), while senior goalkeeper Aleesha Quinlivan stopped seven RSC shots
RSC has a short turnaround, playing tomorrow at 3:00 PM at SUNY Poly.
