Walker Registers Double-Double vs. Alfred
NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Russell Sage College sophomore right side Statia Walker (Schodack, NY/Maple Hill) provided a double-double of 17 assists and 12 digs in tonight's 3-1 non-conference loss to Alfred at the SUNY New Paltz Tournament.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – Russell Sage College sophomore right side Statia Walker (Schodack, NY/Maple Hill) provided a double-double of 17 assists and 12 digs in tonight's 3-1 non-conference loss to Alfred at the SUNY New Paltz Tournament. The Gators dropped the non-conference match by scores of 9-25, 26-24, 10-25, 24-26.
Junior defensive specialist Elaina Moisidis (Albany, NY/Albany) added 30 digs, while senior outside hitter Emma Parkington (Dalton, MA/Wahconah Regional) contributed six kills, three total blocks, and 12 digs.
Junior outside hitter Kayle Hatfield led Alfred (2-3) with 13 kills and 11 digs.
Both squads have a pair of tournament matches on the docket tomorrow. Sage (1-4) will face Mount St. Mary at 1:00 pm and the host Hawks at 5:00 pm. Alfred faces New Paltz at 11:00 am and Mount St. Mary at 3:00 pm.
