ALFRED, N.Y. – Russell Sage College dropped this afternoon's Empire 8 Conference game at Alfred University 25-6.
Senior attackman Bailey Martin (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga Central) led the Gators (5-7/0-3 E8) with three goals. Senior midfielder Shea Obado (Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood) added two goals and one assist, while freshman goalie Erik Reynolds (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) made ten saves in his first start of the spring.
Alfred (7-2/1-0 E8) outscored RSC 10-0 in the second quarter, part of a 15-1 first half run. Junior attackman Drew Cartwright topped the Saxons with seven points on four goals and three assists.
RSC takes a break from E8 action on Tuesday, visiting SUNY Plattsburgh at 4:00 PM.
