ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Russell Sage College dropped this afternoon's Empire 8 Conference game at Nazareth 18-3.
Freshman midfielder Aimee Rodriquez (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) (above), sophomore midfielder Lailah Espinal (Mastic Beach, NY/William Floyd), and sophomore attacker Alexandra Queeney (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) netted the Gator goals. Junior goalkeeper Madeline Butta (Millbrook, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) stopped 15 Golden Flyers shots.
Nazareth (6-8/4-1 E8), which led 8-0 after the opening quarter, had seven players register multiple points in the home victory.
RSC (5-8/2-3 E8) concludes the regular season on Saturday at Hartwick. The E8 matinee is set to begin at 1:00 pm.
Notes: This afternoon marked the eighth time that Butta recorded double-digit saves this spring...She began the day second in the conference in saves per-game... Sophomore attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) entered the weekend second in the E8 with 3.05 goals per-game.
