Trio of Gators Honored by the IWLCA
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Lacrosse had three student-athletes make the 2025-2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
Junior midfielder Alexis Crossman (Corinth, NY/Corinth), junior midfielder Gianna Geraci (Averill Park, NY/Averill Park), and junior attacker Elizabeth Zollman (Bethlehem, NY/Bethlehem Central) were the Gators named to the squad.
Honorees are junior, senior, or graduate students that have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
The program was also selected as an IWLCA Academic Squad for having a team GPA better than a 3.20 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Gator Bites with Papa John's: The spring marked the first with Head Coach Geri Seif leading the Russell Sage College Women's Lacrosse program…She served as an assistant coach with nearby Union College from 2022-2025…The Gators delivered Seif her first career win on April 11 at Keuka…RSC won the Saturday E8 matinee 15-6…Five Gators returned from last year's squad…Sophomore midfielder Maia Hunter (Theresa, NY/Indian River), Crossman, and junior defender Mackenna Huestis (Gansevoort, NY/South Glens Falls) headlined the returnees…In 2025, Crossman topped RSC with 37 points on 31 goals and six assists, and set the program single-season records with 50 caused turnovers, 3.57 per-game…The midfielder holds the school career records for groundballs, and caused turnovers…She established program single-game records of 19 groundballs and 14 caused turnovers in the non-conference victory vs. Elmira on April 20…Crossman, who became the fourth Gator to reach 100 career draw controls earlier this spring, closed the regular season leading the E8 with 58 groundballs, 3.25 caused turnovers per-game, and 4.83 groundballs per-game
