The UAlbany astroturf was tilted in favor of the Engineers, as the visitors outshot RSC 12-0 in the opening period and 19-0 in the first half. RPI (4-2), now winners of four in-a-row, ended up with a 32-1 advantage on shots and 16-1 on corners.
Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Brand (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls) finished with 12 saves across the 60 minutes. This evening marked the 12th time that Brand made double-digit saves in a game.
Sophomore attacker Sophia Brown and junior attacker Katie Galgay paced RPI with a goal and an assist each.
Looking ahead, RSC (2-2) plays at Saint John Fisher on Saturday afternoon.
