Rajulu to Represent Team USA at the 2026 Masters Field Hockey Indoor World Cup
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Varad Rajulu (Glenmont, N.Y.), an assistant coach on the Russell Sage College Field Hockey team, was announced as a member of the United States of America Masters Indoor Field Hockey team that will compete at the World Masters Hockey 2026 Masters Indoor World Cup in Nottingham, England this spring.
Rajulu, selected following recent practices and selection sessions which took place throughout the last year, was officially named to the Over-55 team by the U.S.A. Field Hockey Masters Executive Committee earlier today.
The MIWC is slated to take place March 26 to 31, 2026 and USA will compete against teams from Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Guyana, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Scotland, Switzerland, and Wales.
Rajulu joined the RSC coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2025. The Gators (5-12) had three All-Empire 8 Conference honorees and defeated Utica for the first time to highlight their autumn.
