Grimes Selected an E8 Pitcher of the Week
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Baseball senior Evan Grimes (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa/SUNY Adirondack) was selected an Empire 8 Conference Pitcher of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 1.
In Saturday's 2-0 home shutout of vs. Mount Saint Vincent, the lefty fanned 11 across 5.2 innings of work. The All-Region performer allowed just two hits and two walks to help the Gators begin their season in the win column.
RSC (1-0) is back on the diamond on Sunday, March 8 in Florida.
