Gators See 16-Game Win Streak Come to an End on Tuesday

The Gators (22-4/11-0 E8) saw their 16-game win streak come to an end with a 6-3 loss at the hands of the host Ephs.
Senior Anthony Rizzo (Latham, NY/Shaker/HVCC) and junior Jayden Kennedy (East Patchogue, NY/Patchogue Medford/HVCC) produced the lone RBIs in the loss.
RSC, who set a new program standard for stolen bases in a season this past weekend against Alfred, added to that total with four swiped bags.
Freshman pitcher Paul Roesel (Sag Harbor, NY/Pierson) shined out of the bullpen, contributing 2.2 innings of scoreless ball.
The Gators are back on the diamond in Empire 8 Conference play on Wednesday as they travel to Utica.
