Men's Volleyball Opens Home Slate with Section Two Night
ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men’s Volleyball began its home slate by hosting Arcadia and SUNY Poly in a Saturday afternoon tri-match.

ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Men's Volleyball began its home slate by hosting Arcadia and SUNY Poly in a Saturday afternoon tri-match.
The Gators, which dropped both non-conference matches by 3-1 scores, had five players tally double-digit kills across the seven sets.
Junior opposite Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) topped RSC with 31 total kills, 3.88 per set, on .250 hitting and three blocks.
Junior outside hitter Sean Pingelski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) added 16 kills, while sophomore middle blocker Evan Devine (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) recorded 14 kills on .256 hitting and five total blocks.
Senior middle hitter Marcus Gentile (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) registered 11 kills on .444 hitting and four blocks, all against SUNY Poly (6-6), with sophomore setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) contributing 79 assists, 12 digs, and three aces on the day.
Arcadia (1-5) hit .364 as a team to take the opener. Sophomore outside hitter Tucker Curtis led the Knights with 18 kills on .419 hitting, eight digs and three total blocks. Senior opposite Josh Clendening added 13 kills on .355 hitting and four aces.
Sophomore middle blocker Andrew Baaki (Amsterdam, NY/Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons) paced SUNY Poly, which came back from a 2-0 deficit to win the day's neutral site middle match, with 10 kills on .348 hitting, four blocks, two aces, and three digs.
This afternoon kicked off a stretch of six-straight home contests for the Gators (1-7). RSC hosts Bard on Wednesday night.
