Gators Sweep Saturday Afternoon Tri-Match
Russell Sage College Men’s Volleyball picked up a pair of wins this afternoon as they faced off with Ramapo and Jon Jay in a tri-match.

MAHWAH, NJ – Russell Sage College Men's Volleyball picked up a pair of wins this afternoon as they faced off with Ramapo and John Jay in a tri-match.
The Gators (4-10) defeated both of their Saturday opponents in four sets.
In game one against tri-match host Ramapo, the Gators triumphed in sets one, three, and four, led by a pair of attackers in double digits in the kills column.
Opposite Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) shined, hitting .333 and totaling 16 kills. The junior added four blocks to his ledger for the opener. Sophomore outside hitter John Lindheimer (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) totaled 13 kills on a hitting percentage of .370.
Sophomore setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) recorded a game-high 45 assists in the victory.
John Jay took the court against the Gators next, meeting a similar fate as Ramapo with a three-set victory for RSC.
Fox totaled another eleven kills while acing four serves, while junior outside hitter Sean Pingelski (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) also added eleven.
Senior middle hitter Marcus Gentile (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) and sophomore middle blocker Evan Devine (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) each blocked four Bloodhound attacks, while Guetti tallied another game-high in assists, this time with 44.
Lindheimer contributed another strong hitting performance, converting on nine attacks for a .389 clip.
RSC (4-10) is back in action next Wednesday as they travel to Oneonta to face-off with the Hawks of Hartwick.
