RSC Men's Volleyball Completes 3-0 Week with Road Doubleheader Sweep

JOHNSON, Vt.– Russell Sage College Men's Volleyball capped off a 3-0 week by sweeping both ends of Saturday's doubleheader at Vermont State University: Johnson. The Gators took the New England Volleyball Conference opener 25-15, 25-20, 25-13 and the non-conference second match 25-15, 25-13, 26-24.
Junior opposite Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) topped RSC (7-10/1-0 NEVC) with 17 kills on .483 hitting on the day. The 2024 NEVC Rookie of the Year, who only played the first set of the non-conference contest, registered 15 kills on .636 hitting in the first match.
Junior outside hitter Spencer Cooper (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) registered 10 kills, 20 digs, and two total blocks, while sophomore middle blocker Evan Devine (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) contributed 10 kills on .348 hitting and three total blocks.
Sophomore setter Anthony Guetti (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) ran the RSC offense to the tune of 51 assists across the six sets. He aced four serves and elevated nine Badger (3-9/0-1 NEVC) attacks.
After playing its last five matches away from home, the Gators, now winners of five in-a-row, host Endicott on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
